Navratri, meaning "nine nights," is a vibrant Hindu festival celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm across India and in many Hindu communities around the world. It commemorates the triumph of good over evil and the worship of the goddess Durga in her various forms.
During Navratri, devotees observe fasts, perform prayers, and participate in colorful festivities that include music, dance, and community gatherings. Each of the nine nights is dedicated to one of the forms of Durga, known as Navadurga, with each form symbolizing different aspects of feminine energy and power.
